This is a soft, easygoing social gathering for people who want to be more present, meet new people without the pressure of networking, and spend a Saturday afternoon doing simple things that somehow make life feel a little fuller. What to expect Presence-first hangout: we are keeping things intentionally analog. Less scrolling, more looking up. Expect paper, pens, games, conversation prompts, shared activities, and small moments that make you feel like you are actually in the room. Trivia with vouchers: because warmth is important, but so is friendly competition. Celebrations: everyone gets to share one good thing that has happened to them recently. It can be big, small, silly, private, or oddly specific. We’ll celebrate it anyway because adulthood does not give us enough small ceremonies. Crossword puzzles: there will be crosswords to solve alone, with someone you came with, or with a stranger who may or may not be better at clues than you. Gift-exchange tradition: bring a small, thoughtful gift within a range of #5k to #10k. It doesn't have to be expensive or dramatic. A Book I Want Someone Else to Read: Bring a book you have read and loved, or a book that stayed with you for some reason. You will briefly share why you think someone else should read it, then pass it on to someone you meet at the hangout.
