TALK YOUR OWN: AFTER HOURS Six months. Seven editions. One growing creative community. After six successful editions of Talk Your Own, we’re taking the community off the mic and into the night. Talk Your Own: After Hours is a special celebration of the people, ideas, performances and connections that have made TALK YOUR OWN what it is. For one night, we’re creating a relaxed and vibrant space for creatives to step away from the pressure to perform, connect with one another, have fun, make new memories and simply enjoy being in community. Expect a night of live performances, karaoke, live portrait sketching, body painting, creative games, music, dancing and plenty of opportunities to meet and connect with other creatives. This isn’t a formal open mic. It isn’t a panel. It isn’t another networking event. It’s a creative night out. Come with your friends. Come alone. Come ready to meet someone new, try something different, sing badly, paint freely, dance, laugh and celebrate six months of Talk Your Own. CREATE. CONNECT. PLAY. CELEBRATE. 📍 Octo Lounge, Lagos 📅 Saturday, 29 August 2026 🕖 7:00 PM till late 🎟️ ₦10,000 — All-Access Ticket Presented by African Artists’ Foundation’s Talk Your Own, in collaboration with Octo Lounge and The Orange Initiative by Coke Spice.
