Collage, Lagos is a poetry exhibition and community writing experience for good poets and "bad poets" alike. Every exhibition guest receives a half-finished poem that inspires them to recollect and chronicle their life memories. We offer all participants the option to either write or record their responses in any language of their choosing. We invite anyone who dares write— no matter their age or writing skill— to join us in creating a text and sound archive of what it means to be human. We offer every guest a quiet space to interact, remember and share. Every response we receive becomes an artwork exhibited within the public show. The final product of our shared writing is a multi-author poem we can all call our own. So, come write with us soon. Collage, Lagos is the second leg of a touring poetry installation called The Global Cento. Collage, Lagos is a poetry exhibition and community writing experience for good poets and "bad poets" alike.
