Lagos does not make room for rest. You move through the week at full speed, and by the time you stop, you're too wired to actually switch off. Sleep doesn't fix it. A weekend doesn't fix it. You keep meaning to get to yourself, and you keep not getting there. The Blissful Present Mindfulness Day Retreat is one day set aside for exactly that. It's a fully guided day of meditation, breathwork, sound healing and mindful movement — held in a private space in Ikoyi, with a small group and nothing to do but arrive. You don't need experience. You don't need to have read anything or practised before. You don't need to arrive as anything other than tired. By the end of the day you'll have something you can actually take home — and you'll have spent hours somewhere nobody was performing. Your day Arrival & grounding circle — Welcome, intention-setting, and an opening breath practice to land you in the room. Guided meditation & breathwork — An extended sit focused on presence and settling an overstimulated nervous system. Beginner-friendly throughout. A shared, mindful meal — Real food, unhurried, with real conversation. Sound healing & mindful movement — A restorative afternoon session combining resonance and gentle, embodied practice. No flexibility required. Reflection circle & closing — A closing share, and one practice to carry into your ordinary week. Who this is for Anyone running at a pace they can't sustain. Anyone who has noticed that rest and stillness aren't the same thing. Anyone curious about mindfulness who has never had a real way in. You don't need a practice, a background, or a reason. If you're tired in a way that sleep isn't fixing, this was built for you. Everyone is welcome, regardless of gender.
